  Our Mission

Our mission is to improve tax knowledge through modern technology.

2

  Our History

This website began by hiring computer programmers to build a penalty & interest tool on a tax attorney's website. To our amazement the tool started becoming more popular than the attorney. To boot, the tool was not even accurate at the time.

So the tool was spun off into its own independent website in 2013. We started to learn how to manipulate the tool. We quickly realized that many of the modules had to be rewritten to improve the tool's accuracy. We began one module at a time. User feedback was invaluable to us.

After nearly mastering the accuracy, we began working on fixing the graphics because they were a total disaster. There was a lot of learning to do and again many modules and functions had to be completely rewritten.

We have gained valuable experience throughout the years learning how to improve our communication, take advantage of technology, and most importantly how to listen to users. Thank you.

  Our Current Status

At the moment we have seven calculators. We have the penalty and interest calculator, an IRS interest calculator, an overpayment interest calculator, a tax brackets calculator, an International tax calculator, a deposit penalty calculator, and a sales tax calculator.

  Recent Changes

We have recently added hardware, simplified the calculators, reduced javascript and php errors, and improved structures underneath the graphics.

We recently added the overpayment interest calculator along with the sales tax calculator.

  Future Plans

We are presently working on building new tools, while continuing to support and update our previous calculators. We are currently building an estimated tax penalty calculator, along with a PFIC Calculator. We have future plans to build a state penalty and interest calculator, and a tax professional directory.
