  Our Mission

Our mission is to improve tax knowledge through modern technology.

  Our History

This website began as a tool on a tax attorney's website. The problem was the penalty & interest calculator started becoming more popular than the attorney. So in order to provide a more neutral environment for calculator it was spun off into its own independent website. Improvements were made, accuracy improved, and new tools were developed and added to our family of tax products. Feedback from users has helped us improve the clarity of the calculators along with their overall usefulness. We strive and aim to increase the amount of time each user spends with our tools.

Our tax calculators require a great deal of knowledge and sophistication in tax and technology. We strive to ensure the highest quality and therefore we have vetted our professionals to ensure that they are educated, experienced, and knowledgeable in both taxation and software engineering. Our professionals have not always been able to devote their full attention to this website, but as we are increasing in resources we are diverting more resources to this website. The challenges and possibilities are endless and excite us to this day.

  Our Current Status

At the moment we have five calculators. We have the penalty and interest calculator, an IRS interest calculator, a tax brackets calculator, a worldwide brackets calculator, and a deposit penalty calculator.

  Recent Changes

We have recently improved page load times, simplified the interest calculator, and added a deposit penalty calculator.

As we have been building and updating our tools, traffic has been increasing. As traffic increases we are able to gain more insight into how users are interacting with our tools thereby improving them further. Our goal is to maximize the user experience when interacting with our website.

  Future Plans

We are presently working on building new tools, while continuing to support and update our previous calculators. We are currently building a PFIC Calculator. We have plans in the future to also build an asset valuation calculator, a payroll tax penalty calculator, and a tax professional directory.
